8/9/2023 I have had an SBS2011 server since 2011. I used
Windows Phones and everthing synced nicely. I have android now and get
along pretty well.
Used Outlook on android but it finally quit syncing, switched to Google mail -
it finally quit with security errors. Now I use BlueMail, it's still working.
The SBS system would need restarted about every 3 months but have very few
errors. Then MS hardned DCOM and the server couldn't query the
Windows 10 computers. I've tried changing every dcom setting on the SBS
box in response to DCOM
error 10036 on Windows 10 computer.
Please raise the activation authentication level at least to
RPC_C_AUTHN_LEVEL_PKT_INTEGRITY in client application.
I know SBS is old and not supported but it fits my needs just fine. I don't want
to pay for Office 365. Does any know how to make the SBS Monitor work?
1/1/2023 Been a while since I've written anything, the main
reason was I used FrontPage and it wouldn't upload because of lack of security.
Final got Expression Web 4 to work. Seemed hard to get the ftp settings to work.
I'll try to update more often.
1/2/22 Update on D6R coolant leak.
I had an engine failure, found a different engine. After the engine change the
tractor didn't loose coolant
any more. The tractor had 28000 hours and after disassembly the top of the block
under two cylinders was erroded. After looking at
machining rates vs different engine I changed engines. Original sn was 6NCxxx -
New sn is 9TLxxx. Changed truck arrangement to
tractor arrangement, no problems with fitting.
10/9/16 D6R would loose antifreeze, when filled with water
it would run all summer, when cool weather arrived I would
fill with antifreeze and it would need coolant at least once a week. The
radiator has seven sections that have a rubber
seal. My old seals had expanded and were soft compared to the new ones. Removed
all radiators, cleaned all the holes
and replaced all the seals 6I2431 all the top rubber mounts were ok
6/14/14 Air conditioner "receiver drier orifice tube"
assembly on Cat D6R is mounted in engine compartment. It has
quick couplers and can be changed very easily. I have had to change the
orifice in my Cat 416C, it is very hard
because the headliner needs to be removed. I converted the 416 to use the D6
parts, see picture below.
Had to have short hose made #6 with oring fittings, buy 2 couplers and drier,
remove orifice from evaporator.

I have an HP 48 with SMI software for my surveying data collector. The software
came with
SMI Transfer 98 - Transfer 98 will work with 32 bit Windows 7 but will not
install on 64 bit Windows 7
Here is how I got SMI Transfer 98 to run on 64 bit Windows 7
Install the program on the 32 bit machine. Save the
C:\SMI directory. Copy that directory to 64 bit machine
Make a short cut to wCVCxfer.exe and rename it SMI Transfer 98.
It should work normally
